This was an assignment where we created a book cover based on our life.

The Purpose I Found in You is a self-help book about me! I really enjoy reading self-help books, my favorite is Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. So I was inspired to create my own!

This is the rough draft of how I wanted it to look like.

However, the background felt bland so I added texture and the flower. I also wanted the book to feel more like a journal so thats why I chose to have the ripped paper effect. Plus we were taught how to use the paint brush before this project.

We were also taught to create mock ups! I think it looks decent but I feel like it could be made more realistic by changing the lighting but I am not sure.
