Susan Tran's Portfolio

This project is inspired by Marian Bantjes. We are to create a pattern that will be used to create letterforms. We were to look for an event to based our design on and create a poster as well. I chose the Buddhist Painting by Shashi Dhoj Tulachan exhibiition at Bowers Museum as my event.

Then I looked through some of the paintings and based my design on the background clouds and fire.

Then this is what I came up with for my pattern.

Then we used the live paint bucket to color one of the quadrant to create a letter.

The final psoter, I created was inspired by the paintings of Tulachan.

I am honestly dissapointed that the letters aren’t very prominent to be seen but it has potential.
